Tips during a day at the zoo in Rhenen

Have you planned a day at Ouwehands Dierenpark during your stay at De Thijmse Berg? Then we have some great tips.

1. Keep an eye on the park's day programme. So you know exactly when the animals will be fed and when you have to visit which animals. Keep the map handy to plan your route in advance! 

2. Going with children? The zoo has both outdoor and indoor playgrounds with water and sand. Be sure to bring a towel to get the sand off their feet. An extra set of dry clothes won't hurt either. That way, the kids can romp around all day carefree and return home clean!

3. Ouwehands Dierenpark's newest feature is Pandasia. This wonderful panda enclosure will transport you to Asian spheres. Feeling hungry and thirsty? Above Pandasia you will find a matching Asian restaurant. For all panda fans, this is definitely the place to walk up. Before you enter the restaurant, you first pass the Pandashop. Here you will find the cutest panda merchandise!
