The Utrecht Hill Ridge at its most beautiful

This nature park is so much more than forest and heathland.  The area has a rich cultural history worth exploring. From our holiday park, you can quickly reach the nature reserve and explore the history of the Utrecht Hill Ridge.  From the Middle Ages, the area began to be divided up and wealthy families built castles there, which were reused centuries later in World War II. Amerongen Castle, for example, served as the headquarters of the Germans. Remnants of that era can still be found in the area today. Walk or bike across the Utrecht Hill Ridge and discover all the hidden historical elements or visit the castle.
